WOW! Dia Mirza celebrates Children’s Day with kids from Scrappy News Service

Children’s Day was celebrated nationwide yesterday on November 14. A lot of actors shared lovely messages and even their childhood pictures on their social media profiles. Those who have kids uploaded their pictures which made for a nice watch. And a few of them attended some interesting events related to Children’s Day. Dia Mirza was one such celebrity who went to Worli village in Mumbai near the iconic Sea Link. Here, she met with the children from an initiative called Scrappy News Service.

For those who don’t know, the Children's Scrappy News Service is the first makeshift news service run by kids, taking on the world’s biggest problems and solving them with design-thinking and scrappy skills. Dia Mirza looked radiant and happy as she visited the venue of the News Service. She was visibly impressed with the décor. Later, she also tried her hand at football.

On the film front, Dia Mirza acted last year in the Iranian film Salaam Mumbai opposite the dashing Mohammad Reza Golzar. Before that, she acted in Bengali film in 2012 called Paanch Adhyay. Her last Hindi film was in 2011 and titled Love Breakups Zindagi. It was also her first production while the 2014 detective film Bobby Jasoos, featuring Vidya Balan, was the second film produced by her.
