Lakme Fashion Week 2018: Saif Ali Khan redefines debonair as the showstopper for Shantanu and Nikhil

Men’s fashion is underrated. While women enjoy a plethora of styles and there is certainly no dearth of option, upping the bar for the contemporary and fashion were feted designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil who showcased their collection Tribe- The India Story. This collection is a narrative of fashion and fortitude. Choosing the most dapper man of Bollywood, unarguably so, Saif Ali Khan redefined class, debonair and dapper all in one go today! While his drop-dead debonair demeanour is quite known, the Nawab Of Pataudi – Saif Ali Khan is aristocratic with a distinct penchant to look good even in the most basic style. But boy oh boy! When he suits up, he sure sets a million hearts aflutter and makes the men straighten up their game!

A non-fussy dresser but flitting styles as the occasion demands and equally at ease whether it’s a bandhgala or jodhpuris or suits, Saif personifies class and sophistication.  Designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil’s collection titled ‘Tribe – The India Story’ draws references from the tribes of Rajasthan. With this Spring Summer 2018 collection, the label aims to promote gender-neutrality with clothing featuring pleating, bold colour blocking and aged textures. Here is a closer look at their creation for their showstopper Saif Ali Khan.

Bollywood Hungama Verdict

A royal by birth, Saif Ali Khan swears by ethnic kurtas and had coolly flaunted them for a casual dinner date with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan or while travelling. Proving the versatility of the Indian wear quite a few times, Saif Ali Khan has aced the ethnic game with every appearance.

Said Ali Khan was last seen in Kaalakandi that garnered a tepid response at the box office but he was critically acclaimed for his performance.
